EASA APPROVED MAJOR CHANGE – Life Extension from 2000 to 4000 hrs including additional checks and mandatory 300 hr/ 36 month inspection and introduces Operational Limitations through Flight Manual, Maintenance Manual and Cockpit Placarding amendments.
Major change approved by EASA 13/09/2010. The Bulletin 007/36/2010 addresses the continuing maintenance and operational requirements due the SZD-36A Cobra 15 aging wooden structure. This Bulletin raises a service life extension inspection schedule and approves the airframe life increase to 4000 hrs. The glider Registered Operator must ensure the requirements detailed in Bulletin BE-007/36/2010 are incorporated and this Airworthiness Directive is recorded in the appropriate section of the logbook along with any maintenance actions as detailed in this bulletin.
