Applicable to the Libelle 201/201B, 301/301B and 401 Kestrel. GFA AD/12 Issue 1 was distributed in 1971. The 13 year space has shown that the need for mandatory replacement of rudder cables at 500 hours intervals is no longer valid. Inspect rudder cables for wear and broken strands particularly at the 'S' tubes at the rudder pedals. at 100 hour intervals and at annual form 2 inspections. Broken strands require cable replacement.
