PROPELLER & HUB INSPECTION / OVERHAUL
To prevent a possible failure of attachment of the propeller blades the propeller hub on the Duo Discus T and Nimbus-4DT must be checked and overhauled. The EASA has issued AD 2006-0294-E. Schempp-Hirth has issued technical note 890-8 /868-11 which forms part of this AD. With the propeller removed the aircraft may temporarily be flown in pure glider mode. After inspection / overhaul is completed the propeller must be reinstalled.
