Inspection of bonding area of the web to cap plies in the area of the airbrake box on HK-36 variants. Air inclusions in the bonding area of the spar web-to-cap provides the possibility that water may enter via the airbrake box and possibly cause damage due to freezing. Diamond Aircraft Industries has issued MSB 36-089/1 and Work instruction WI-MSB-36-089 which form part of this AD. Carry out visual inspection and if necessary seal gaps in accordance with WI-MSB-36-089.
