The results of fatigue tests have shown that the service life of Glass and Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastics gliders can be increased to a maximum of 12000 flight hours. (LBA AD No. 1998-480.) This AD is applicable to the Speed Astir II and IIb, serial numbers 4001 up to 4107 and includes inspection and exchange of pages in the flight and maintenance manuals in accordance with Grob Service Bulletin No. 320-7 which forms part of this AD.
